WiN Global, a not-for-profit organization, currently has around 25,000 members including national chapters’ members and individuals from 102 countries and is still growing. Membership includes women working professionally in medicine and health care, in regulatory authorities, in industry and as independent researchers. The members have a common commitment to provide information and communicate with the public. Men are very welcome to join.

    The 2018 WiN Global Conference – Challenge the present, empower the future – was the first WiN Global Annual Conference to be jointly organised with another organisation – the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC).

    Climate change, communication and the importance of youth and diversity in nuclear were important themes in the messages delivered to 420 participants from 37 countries through panels and presentations.

    As always, the technical tours were a highlight of the program – these included Bariloche Atomic Centre CNEA, Nucleoelectrica – Atucha I-II NPP site, INVAP S.E. and Eletronuclear Angra I-II NPP Site.
