2018 Women in Nuclear Global Conference
The 2018 WiN Global Conference – Challenge the present, empower the future – was the first WiN Global Annual Conference to be jointly organised with another organisation – the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC).
Climate change, communication and the importance of youth and diversity in nuclear were important themes in the messages delivered to 420 participants from 37 countries through panels and presentations.
As always, the technical tours were a highlight of the program – these included Bariloche Atomic Centre CNEA, Nucleoelectrica – Atucha I-II NPP site, INVAP S.E. and Eletronuclear Angra I-II NPP Site.
The Australia delegation were thrilled when Australia was announced as the host of IYNC2020!
